DutchX.com Netherlands - Eindhoven Introduction

Welcome to Eindhoven, located in the North Brabant province of the southern Netherlands, and with a population of approximately 200,000 people or approximately 700,000 making up the greater metropolitan area it is the country's fifth city. It's history dates back to 1232, when as Endehoven it was granted city rights by Duke Hendrik the First of Brabant, although at that time it comprised less than 200 buildings surrounded by a rampart and a nearby castle.
